Yarden Amir

Living and creating in Tel Aviv, Amir is a Shenkar College graduate. In her work, she uses wooden surfaces, treating them with a technique of covering and inserting nails. She creates sculptural images, some visible to the naked eye while others require viewing through a microscope. Her work explores the contrast between nature and progress, forming unified pieces interwoven with thousands of particles that depict how she perceives humanity in the world.
