• The brand was founded in Utrecht, Holland in 1913 as a workshop for designing “standard” furniture, mainly chairs and couches. As the years went by, the brand evolved and developed into a new perception and a brand was reborn, one that constantly examines its surrounding. Since the 1950’s it has been focused on manufacturing storage collections – cabinets and storage units – custom made for clients through a special process. In 1957, it won a prize in the Milan Triennale. The brand believes that its true value lies in its user consideration – in creating specific layout, composition, and concept for each client. Each collection constitutes a broad variety of options of color, finish, accessory, coating and more. The items have their own design statement, one that is based on a clear concept that projects timeless, non-pretentious simplicity and lives beyond the everchanging trends. At the same time, the brand always looks into the past for inspiration and recently re-launched items that were designed along the years, furniture pieces such as 1960’s desks and a collection of chairs designed in the 1950’s based on pipes and metal pipes, all inspired by modernist artists such as Charles Eames and Alvar Alt,
