Gil Shmerlin creates light sculptures and objects in which material and light merge in a deliberate tension. In this work, a gentle light reveals the spaces between the lines and guides the eye along an almost invisible path. The composition creates a sense of quiet, where light and form converge into a subtle spatial presence.
